Meet our 2024 Lions Roar Grand Marshal - Paul Heinen
Paul and his family have been a long-time pillar in our community and is perfect person to be our 2024 Lions Roar Grand Marshal!
Paul met his wife, April, in 7th Grade! They have two kids, Abigail & Kolin. Paul started working full-time at the dealership when he was 15 years old and continued working full-time all the way through high school and college. He worked in every facet of the dealership, helping set up farm irrigation, mechanic, parts person, and finally taking over his father's ownership in 1994. Yes, 30 years ago!
The Heinen family has been an important part of the Osseo community since the 1930’s! This year, Heinen’s Motorsports is donating two youth ATVs for the Osseo Lions Roar raffle.
With his passion for motorsports, he took this little farm store/dealership and grew it to be the largest volume Polaris dealer by 1999. Polaris only made ATVs and Snowmobiles, so Paul sought out motorcycles and watercraft. He added Husqvarna Motorcycles in 1999, Yamaha and Arctic Cat in 2003, Suzuki in 2004, MV Agusta in 2007, Kymco in 2010, Tige' boats in 2011, and Honda and Kawasaki in 2020!
He and his wife also own and manage two other businesses and over 25 properties, yet Paul’s favorite thing to do is still anything related to Motorsports. There isn’t a day that goes by that he isn’t riding or driving something!
