Grand Marshals for the 2026 Lions Roar Parade
Paul and Deb Santrizos, Family Owners of Olympia Café
Paul Santrizos is the son of Dimitri Santrizos, the original owner of Olympia Café, which was established in 1984–85. Dimitri immigrated from Greece with a dream of building a life in America after serving as a chef in the Greek Navy. For more than four decades, Paul worked alongside his father, learning the business, the craft, and the importance of serving the community.
Paul and Deb have raised three children while continuing to grow Olympia Café into a welcoming place for the community to gather and enjoy great food. Through COVID and other challenges, they persevered with dedication, hospitality, and heart. Along the way, they have continued giving back through fundraisers, community events, and everyday acts of support.
Each year during Osseo Lions Roar, Paul and Deb help keep the Lions Food Tent running by providing electricity, water, and support in countless other ways. They are always the first to ask, “What can we do? Let us know what you need.” Whether it is offering a place to rest and recharge between events or stepping in behind the scenes, they make the celebration stronger for everyone involved.
Why Paul and Deb Are Being Honored
They have built Olympia Café into a trusted and welcoming Osseo business.
They consistently support Lions Roar and the Lions Food Tent year after year.
They give generously to the community through fundraisers, events, and behind-the-scenes help.
They lead by example, supported by a great team that reflects their commitment and care.
Deb and Paul, thank you for everything you do—often behind the scenes—for Osseo and the Lions Roar community.
Your generosity, leadership, and commitment are deeply appreciated, even when we do not say it often enough.
Congratulations on this well-deserved honor.
