Every September, the streets of downtown Osseo come alive. Thousands of neighbors, families, and friends fill Central Avenue for the Osseo Lions Roar — a two-day celebration of community that features a city-wide parade, live music, food, a classic car show, a 5K run/walk, children's activities, free KidSight vision screenings, and so much more. It is one of the most beloved and anticipated events in the northwest metro — and it simply would not exist without the generous support of sponsors like you.
The Roar Is the Heartbeat of the Mission
The Osseo Lions Club was founded in August 1944 by a group of Osseo businessmen committed to the idea that community is what we make it together. For more than 80 years, this small but mighty club — fewer than 50 active members — has punched well above its weight, pouring resources, time, and heart back into the community it calls home. The Roar is the club's single largest annual fundraiser, and the proceeds are the lifeblood that keeps its most critical missions moving forward.

Free children's vision screenings (KidSight) for kids ages 6 months to 16 years — honoring the Lions' founding promise to Helen Keller to be "knights of the blind in the crusade against darkness."
