If you’re part of the Lions Club International in the 5M5 District but have never been to our Mid-Winter Convention, then you’re missing out!

The annual 5M5 Mid-Winter Convention is being held again this year in Bloomington, MN, at the Doubletree Hotel from January 10th to the 12th.

Friday Night, January 10th, will start with a New Member Induction & Recognition Ceremony. We want to see a really impressive group of new Lions gathered together to celebrate their commitment to the mission of Lions Club International and all the Lions organization does globally and locally for our communities through its various clubs. So! If you are a new Lion (since this past July) or your club has brought in new members, please make every effort to come and join this special ceremony to honor the members and the growth of Lions District 5M5.

As far as New Membership kits, you only need to provide one, if they / you have not been inducted by your individual club yet.

This is FREE for you to attend Friday, but there’s so much fun to be had! Bring a pocket of $1 bills and bet on the New Hope Lions Minnow Races. Help bail a Lion out of the Osseo Lions Jail. Buy chances at some great raffles taking place this weekend. Check out the themed rooms various clubs will be decorating for a themed competition. Take in a very unique ‘style show’ happening this weekend. And, enjoy all of the good eats & beverages being provided.

There’s so much to see, do, and learn about. So, come celebrate with your district on a past year of accomplishments and new year of goals!
