The Osseo Lions Roar is just 2 weeks away!
Mark your calendars and plan on coming to downtown Osseo on September 9th and 10th for community togetherness, food, drinks, music, shopping, games and more!
The Lions Food Tent is back with all those traditional Lions Roar favorites, but The Noon-Time Lions are back with their famous mini-donuts, and Smith Farm’s will be there with buttery corn a plenty! We’re also bringing back pizza from Red Savoy’s, and this year’s ice cream social comes courtesy of the sweet flavors from local Big Dipper Creamery!
Our “World Famous” Beer Garden will be serving up beer favorites and wine!
And we’re kicking off live musical entertainment from Rough House Friday night, Generation Radio taking to the stage Saturday afternoon, and American Bootleg will be wrapping it all up on Saturday night. Plus, DJ K2 Sound and Light will be providing our MC solutions and light musical sounds between band sets!
There’s an expanded Kids/Teens area now called LEO’s Adventureland with the popular inflatable bounce house fun! You’ll find the petting zoo and KidSight tent along with other kid-friendly games and activities this year.
The Parade on Saturday is one of the event’s highlight every year! And, if you’re feeling competitive, you may want to check out the Bean Bag tournament happening this weekend, along with a new Lions Word Jumble HUNT and our fun-for-all-ages coloring contest. PLUS new this year, a CRIBBAGE TOURNAMENT at the American Legion, Post 172.
And we’re just getting started!
There’s a 5K Run the morning of the 10th, a Classic Car Show following the parade on the 10th, Pull Tabs and Big Wheel fun, Bingo, a big vendor and craft fair taking over Boerboom Park, and more!
