Meet Your 2019 Lion of the Year – Lion Tanya Troska

2019 Osseo Lion of the Year -Lion Tanya Troska

LION TANYA TROSKA HAS BEEN NAMED 2019 OSSEO LION OF THE YEAR.

Lion Troska has shown her willingness to ROAR ahead of the crowd with her dedication to help serve others. Her talents in digital design, marketing, and website and social media management have been invaluable to the Osseo Lions Club organization.

Lion Tanya is always willing to lend a helping hand with new projects, fine tune existing projects, and being a guiding force in managing projects through to the end.

Tanya followed in her family’s footsteps as a young child; becoming a LEO through the sponsorship of the Superior Wisconsin Lions Club, her grandfather, (Lion) George Vokovich, and uncle, (Lion) Robert Zimmerman. She continued to follow in that stewardship as she aged out and sought out other areas of stewardship opportunities through church, school, and her children’s scouting clubs over the years.

She has been an official member of the Osseo Lions Club for the past four years now, and her enthusiasm and feisty personality has been a welcomed addition to the already rowdy bunch we are proud to call Osseo Lions today.

Lion Tanya always finds time to serve; even with an already packed schedule of ever-changing family needs and the daily juggling of tasks and client needs that she’s responsible for managing within her businesses. Yes. Plural. She owns and operates two other businesses!

And, Tanya is never afraid of working hard; sometimes maybe taking on too much, but somehow always pulling through for everyone counting on her.

Tanya is in charge of managing our Osseo Lions website, (www.osseolions.org).

The changes she has made are absolutely night and day from where we started. She’s brought us into a new century with updates and image-evoking web pages that reach right out to grab a visitor’s attention.

With Lion Tanya’s help, it’s now easier for people in need to contact the Lions Club through our website. Our event page updates keep everyone in-the-know about what the Osseo Lions are up to, when an event will take place, and what they can expect at the event. Find more about lofty property management here. And, general information about our club has brought in a renewed interest in the organization as a whole and how they could get involved.

Tanya also helps design and create a large number of our print marketing designs and teams with other Lion Members on social media outreach strategies while managing conversations to, from, and about the Osseo Lions Club online.

Getting More Personal

In her “downtime”, Tanya enjoys traveling, creating and trying new foods and wine, exploring the outdoors, anything to do with music, and enjoying time with family and friends – especially if she’s feeding them!

Tanya has stated, on numerous occasions, her ability to help others has been very much dependent on the support and empowerment by those around her, starting with her husband, Richard Troska, who is also an active member of the Osseo Lions. She also credits her mother and father, strong friendships, her children, and her faith!

She has three amazing children; ranging in age from 12 Years to 22 Years, in addition to a host of other children who have called her home their “home”; whether they stayed with the Troskas for years or if they were just passing through over the past 12 years. Check here www.riskfreeserv.com. Most of those children to still refer to her as “Momma T” today.

For Tanya and her family, Lionism is simply a part of what they do and who they are – all of them helping out at various times and at various events to make our communities a better place for the residents and businesses who share and enjoy these spaces.
