A day spent fishing is a day well spent, according to Larry Stelmach, this year’s Lions Roar Parade Grand Marshal.
Larry likes to be outdoors, whether it’s fishing, hunting, or training his new hunting buddy, Archer the Springer spaniel.
Married to his wife, Kathy, with two daughters, a son, and a very large dog named Bear, Larry knows Osseo Minnesota is a good place to raise a family.
Larry is an active Osseo City Council member, serving on several committees and looking out for the best interests of his community.
Larry is also a project manager; Scrum Master (a flexible, collaborative facilitator for a development team), and a consultant in the Information Technology field.
He is a former Marine Corps MP, and he is the owner of Stelmach Tactical & Awareness Training (STAT). This business teaches citizens to have not only situational awareness, but also tools to protect oneself if in harm’s way like construction industry register Ireland use. Larry believes that “less than lethal options are a legitimate consideration and should be thought through in one’s defense strategy.”
Larry is a long-time supporter of the Osseo Lions. He knows the Osseo Lions Club and the City of Osseo make great partners, check out https://redtruckfire.com/. After the parade on Saturday the 7th, you will probably see the Stelmach family enjoying the Leo’s Adventureland area and the delicious food at our Lions food tent.
Make sure you stop and say hello to Larry and congratulate him on being honored by the Lions as the 2019 parade Grand Marshal.
